A twitter tool that notifies you when your domain name is released

imageTweetclaims.com is a really clever little tool which I think could be really useful if you work with or for big brands. I am sure most of us have tried to get a popular domain before, only to find out that it has already been taken by someone who is doing nothing with it. This is commonly referred to as Cyber Squatting.

So i you were after a particular Twitter name and the account was suspended you simply add your details into this tool and it notifies you by email when the account has been released formerly by Twitter. This is what it says about it’s own service:

Simply create a free account with your email address and you can enter up to 10 Twitter usernames. We will check these immediately for you to see if they are available.

You can also sign up for our free monitoring service and we will notify you when they become available.

A big hat tip goes to Tweasier blogger Ben Cotton for sharing this one with me.

A Twitter app that doubles up as your to do List

You know at Tweasier we are always searching the internet to find the most interesting Twitter Apps for you to try well we have certainly found a different one with this our latest find.

TodoTweet is a free new (just launched) Twitter tool that helps you use your Twitter account to track and manage your daily tasks.

TodoTweet

It takes all the tweets from your twitter account which you have tagged with #todo and creates a to-do list for you. The first thing I asked myself is why would I want all of my followers to view everything I am doing as that could become a bit tiresome but it does have a private function too, so you don’t have to share everything.

It uses twitter’s secure Oauth signin method so all you need to do is sync it with your twitter account and then you can begin tagging your tasks.

The walkthrough video is below which takes you through how the app works. I think this is a very good looking app, with a different, but clever idea, behind it. I like it when something useful is created and well executed – what do you think?
