I have been on Twitter for several years and in that time I have used quite a lot of Twitter tools to find people. So here are my top five tools, by no means is this an exhaustive list, so if you have any further suggestions which make your life easier in finding people to follow then feel free to add a comment and share it with us.
· Mr Tweet – this is a great tool which recommends people to follow based on your friends and who they follow
· Twitter Search – It does what it says on the tin. This can be time consuming but it is a useful search engine for finding people to follow
· Twitterholic.com – this is a great tool which provide lists of people from your town or area and shows you who has the most friends and followers. You might be surprised to find someone you know is really popular![]()
· WeFollow – this is a simple to use friend finding tool
· Twellow – think yellow pages for Twitter and you are there
Whilst looking for a fifth tool I stumbled across a post from the guys at Mashable that has a few more ways to Find people to follow on Twitter.
